Pray For

Before the Trip:

• Pray that God would begin to prepare our hearts and minds to share His love with the people of Uganda.
• Pray that God would begin to prepare the hearts and minds of the people we will be ministering to. Those in the prisons. The children in the orphanage. The people we meet in the villages and along the way.
• Pray that the appropriate funding for the trip comes through. We are confident that our God will provide!
• Pray that we can accomplish the things that need to be done before we leave in July (immunizations, fundraising, gathering supplies, etc.)

During the Trip:

• Pray for us as a team to represent the Lord and Journey in a God-honoring way.
• Pray that we would allow the Lord to work in us and through us how He wants to, for His glory.
• Pray for many lives to be won for the Lord; for the people to put their trust in Jesus!
• Pray that we would have safe travels to and from our destinations.
• Pray that we would have good health during our stay in Uganda.

After the Trip:

• Pray that we would take what we learned and apply it to our lives, not forgetting about being the hands and feet of Jesus when we return to the culture we know.
• Pray that our hearts would be on fire for Christ, and that we can spread the good news of Jesus in our own city.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
