Here we are: the four from our small group who are going to Uganda!

On July 16th, 2011 we will be boarding a plane with a team from Journey Church that will take us to Uganda, in East Africa, where we will spend two weeks loving on the people of the country and sharing the love of Jesus with them. Join us in praying for these people, for God to move in their hearts, that many would come to know Jesus as their Savior, and for us to allow the Lord to work in us and through us for His glory.

We'll also get the chance to meet "our" little girl, Hilda, whom we sponsor through Arise Africa International. (That's her in the picture up there!) Hilda lives at the orphanage Journey has partnered with AAI to build, along with 48 other orphans. She's four years old and although we have yet to meet, she has already captured our hearts.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
